  • For the moderators information, with the KNOWN ISSUE about players being unable to access their multi friend selector, I have discovered that on my home computer I always have this issue using Firefox 5.0 but never with Internet Explorer 6 (on the same PC). I hope this helps.
  • The music sounds way more Irish than English. They should have used punk rock, like the S*x Pistols. ;-)
  • Yep, watering is almost as boring as adding 20 lots of feed from my gift box to my animal trough. Way too time consuming to do. At least the feed is easy to come by via visiting neighbours farms. Water should be easiest of all - I want to install a tap/faucet on my farm!!!
  • Same issue for me. Stuck at 95% loading for last few hours. Several refreshes and a reboot of my PC made no difference. Tried my laptop and no good either. Very frustrating!!!!
  • Ditto! It's been a looong time coming, but I'm grateful to Zynga for this. Woo hoo! :D
  • No pop up yet, and I'm still undecided anyway. I've mastered all of the crops for all of the receipes in each of the cottages, so that isn't a factor. Unless one of the cottages is going to help my neighbours more than another (and I doubt it will make any difference) I guess I'll choose based on asthetics, so will…
  • I have only ever had one pig on my farm, and that was for an inactive neighbour, so I refused to post it. I then proceded to remove all my inactive neighbours so that I will be able to post the next pig that comes along. Maybe I'm being punished for not posting / deleting my inactive neighbours, 'cos I haven't seen another…
  • To the OP... Judging from the pics, when you say the buildings are all 3x2 - you mean plot squares, right? So they are in fact 12x6 (i.e. 12 chickens x 6 chickens).
  • For those seeking more information, the official guide to the crafting cottages is found below. It is certainly not comprehensive, but it will give you a decent amount of info to get started. Crafting cottages official release (guide): http://forums.zynga.com/showthread.php?p=6302781#post6302781 Pics of the buildings…
  • Same here. :(
  • Hmm, I might just do that! Can't see any benefit in keeping the inactive neighbours, and I certainly won't be 'spamming' people with a pig post unless I know they are active players. The official update thread here says that "When tending your farm, you now have a chance to find a sow that is expecting piglets. This little…
  • The official update thread here says that "When tending your farm, you now have a chance to find a sow that is expecting piglets. This little lady will belong to one of your neighbors. The neighbor she belongs to is selected at random." Unfortunately I believe the last bit (in bold) to be a blatant misrepresentation of the…
  • Sugar cane. It's ugly. It's tall which makes it hard to harvest (keep clicking on the plot above it) and you need thousands to get the mastery. I doubt that I'll be planting it again now that I have it mastered. Sugar cane in recipes might even influence my choice of crafting cottage!
  • Thanks for the info. I only wish Zynga would come out and provide this up-front  (comment here if you agree). With wheat mastered months ago, and rye just completed, I'm about to start on triticale. I have 600+ plots, so can do it in 8 plantings. If triticale provides bushels (does anyone know?) I'll be able to…
  • So the reward for all this bee gifting, hive tending and flower planting is what? 600 coins and extra bushels? Bah - that is so not worth the hassle! If we got a ton of coins (like 5,000 a day) or a heap of XP at harvesting (say 250 XP) then maybe it would be worthwhile. Or better yet, pollinated crops should provide an…
  • What was the theme called where we had all the cowboy stuff, like cacti and horses tied up to hitching posts etc? Was it "Wild West"? That was my fave. Would like to see some more of that, like the stuff out of westerns - say a saloon, barber, stage coach etc.
  • From reading the four pages (so far) of this thread, it sounds like the pigs are going to inactive neighbours WAAAY more often than active neighbours. This then begs the question, should we all start culling our inactive neighbours to prevent this from happening? Now that would be the opposite outcome to what Zynga was…
  • Sorry to be a spoilsport, but I’d say that it is highly likely that mastering blueberries will be a pre-requisite for the new berry crop. Fortunately for me I’ve mastered all of the original crops before they started adding all these new ones recently, so I only needed to tackle the rye (will be mastered in the next 48…
  • I just hope that when bees are released they will provide decent XP at harvest time. For long-term players who have millions of coins, XP is the only real incentive. A 5 XP daily harvest (for example) is just not going to cut it, even if it also gives me 10K in coins. There needs to be at least 100 XP daily from the hive…
  • P.S. And now the lower / medium level players actually have something to look forward to. For a long time once you hit level 40 that was it!
  • I've been crying out for high level items for AGES, so the things many of you are complaining about are actually a WELCOME addition to the game for me, and many other high level players. Firstly we had nothing worth spending our millions on for so long. Secondly, how can we show off the fact that we have been playing for…
  • 53 masteries and counting. I'm proud that I've done it all without the bi-plane through time and patience. I don't bag those that do use a bi-plane - I just have better things to spend my 'real life' money on. P.S. I'm getting peeved with all the new seeds. I wanted to master all the crops and RETIRE. Zynga is conspiring…
  • Like Cassa I'm level 90. For ages I was raving on the forums about the need to higher level items, and for things to cost more money so that the higher level - longer term players can stand out from the crowd. What else am I going to spend my millions on? Just like Casa I splurged on belted cows (1M) and pheasants (2M) and…
  • Until we know what supercharging our farmer does, I'm not even sure these crafting cottages will be worth anything more than a decoration. With most people trapping their farmers in, a faster moving farmer will need to be super speedy to beat what we have already achieved by trapping our little dudes and dudettes. If…
  • You're not blind. When this guide was written there weren't any 12 hour crops, so that is why they aren't mentioned. I haven't bothered updating the guide because the game keeps changing all the time (bi-planes and market stall etc). However the basics still apply, so hopefully anyone new to the game will still find the…
  • What an excellent question! Some clarification on this from Zynga would be nice. I find their update threads don't explain nearly enough.
  • Not yet. I didn't move from 70. My XP is 455,616 and my only other level 70 neighbour also did not change levels (his XP is 537,079). I think the change was an adjustment of XP required for lower levels as a precursor to adding more levels above 70. At least I hope so! :)
  • I kept it white. If I had the option to paint ALL my buildings I would change them all to the green - I think it looks great. But a green stable next to a white barn and a pink tool shed - eww!
  • Your FarmVille addiction will come and go, but your Tattoo will be with you forever. Think carefully my friend!
