Why can't we purchase a farm expansion with coin?

I have all this money earned on Farmville but what's it good for? I can't expand my farm with it, you have to have FarmCash for that. Zynga why can't we use our coins earned to purchase Turbo or Gas or Instragrow? Charge me coin for it instead of FarmCash. Come on. Help a girl out here.

i agree, i have millions in coin, but cant
I have millions as well. I don't need anything else for the farm or my little town or my Zoo or my orchards. I have a very large farm now but want to expand. I can't purchase FarmCash so the only thing I have is coins. Millions of coins.
