Weekly league

Finto23Finto23 Posts: 6Registered User Loose Cannon

I'm at level 17 in the weekly league. I've be stuck there for a number of weeks. The reason is because every week the majority in the top 15 are fake accounts. The players have played 25-45 Billions chips with just 50-150 hands played. (Clearly impossible).

This has now happened for the past three weeks. Either they have hacked Zynga poker to get so many chips or Zynga have created the accounts to stop people getting promoted.

Zynga refused to do anything about it. Does anyone else see this issue

Hi, Finto23 and kevpoker! Our Poker Support team is doing their best to eliminate this kind of players. Please report them by using the Report Abuse feature. Thank you.

And its still happening... three players have reported fake profiles taking up to top 70 or so places in each of their leagues. It is so blatant and widespread Zynga shouldnt need us to report abuse but actually just go into the league tables and see for themselves.

The situation has worsened. This week in my league 39 players in the top 60 players are fake accounts. I got relegated last week because there were 40 fake accounts.

The league is a waste of time because only 50% of the leagues are taken up with fake accounts.

No attempt fro Zygna to fix it. Makes me think they actually suppport illegal accounts

I now face 4 weeks in a row of relegation. This game is now ruined by hackers cheats bots and a team unwilling to fix the product

All of these are fake accounts created to dump chips to someone.

                             *-*-*-*-Easy fix Zynga: -*-*-*-*

    1) Change the contest from chips “won” to chips actually profited during the week.
Example: If you win a 10billion chip pot then lose 10billion on the next hand and are broke, you have won zero. NOT 10 BILLION. This will prevent people from recycling the same chips back and forth to each other.

This is a huge problem with the Weekly League and this loophole must be fixed.

Reporting players will never solve the problem, plus I cannot report a player I haven’t played with, and can’t play with, because they’re broke. The real player who should be reported is the one who they dumped chips to, because that is likely the same person.

Good idea. Anything is better than the current system. I’m now down in league 14 with little hope of ever making the top leagues again. The league was a fun system but is ruined by these fake accounts.

    Up

Its getting worser and worser : begin a lvl 15 league today, and suddenly fell 92th, after 80 fake accounts.
This really must be fixed : the game has no interest with such hacks.
Hope Zynga will do something one day, thanks for the game (but not for the league yet)

I am on level 15 again, I get dropped back to level 14 and don't have a problem getting back to 15, when I hit 15 again the bad beats are unbelievable!!!! I couldn't win a hand with a full house... as in really the high card will win right??? unless your opponant has 4 of a kind.... I see this all the time at 15. I lose so much... I am a tight player. this is about the 5th time this has happened, I also run into big teams more at 15 than at 14. I think Zynga has Zombie players too... as in reanimated dead accounts, this is just a suspicion I cant go futher with this line of investigation any more because I am on the new( ****) format that wont allow me any info on a player than just the basics... I normally profile all players who seem above average.

It still hasn't changed a bit right now in October, it has been 4 hours since the leader board reset and there's already 13+ hackers in the board, I was in league 15 for three weeks and couldn't get higher because of the hackers, but now this this has **** me off, I dropped to 14 and lost more than 400 millions trying to get my rank back, I guess im just going to quit for now, shame on zynga.

Ten months later from the original post and same ****, no attempt at resolution by Zinga. Just after start of new league week and already 35 bogus players at top of League 17 with 25 billion or more in winnings, some with no name shown or even zero hands played. Obv that Zynga either doesn't care, supports it, or actually puts the bogies in themselves. Been some great suggestions for fixes, such as using real chip gains and not gross winnings for league standing, falling on deaf ears. ARE YOU THERE ZYNGA??? No need for reports, just a casual look makes it obvious
