I have limited time to play and I am never sure which crops to plant to give the highest yield.I had a list many moons ago, lost it,Can someone please post or send to [email protected]
at my level carrots grow in a day and yield 14 feed whilst blackberries grow in 2 minutes and yield 8 feed.
Depends upon what level you are, what crops are available to you. Although this tends to be a question lower level players ask.
Make good use of your neighbour visits, grab yourself a lot of higher level neighbours, they usually have a visitor area with Trees and crops, with both high XP and a high feed yield.
Otherwise just read the info on the latest crops available to you in your market, plant for what you need.

I think when someone last posted a list, Chickpea was recommended as it gave 23 for 1 hr time. Many reported using Shallots -- 44 for 24 hrs. After reaching Level 2 Orchard in ROB, you occassionally get crop packets -- One crop packet is Cayenne Pepper: 50 for 12 hr. Now, whenever I win a Cayenee Pepper packet and spend all available time/water/fert/harvest to make as much as possible while its available. Fertilized it comes out at a far, far less coin cost than anything else I've seen. I'm at Level 191. To me, the ROB is well worth working until you get to the Level 2 Orchard just for the Cayenne pepper pack.
Welcoming new Zfriends. Play daily.
I use Passion Flower. 15 hour crop, 75 feed.
Its largely level dependent as well as how you play your game - you'll probably find that you are planting a lot of whatever just unlocked for your level for high XP and you won't be using it a lot for crafting so just grind that up or if you have left over of the weekly crop. You probably dont want to use stuff that you need constantly to craft with like wheat or anything you pick up that has a high resale value - it's better at lower levels to sell the stuff you get off of high level farms then to grind them up as food - lower level farmers should be using left overs as much as possible not wasting water planting for feed.
