There are still beginner quests that hang up on the county fair / state fair thing and don't recognize getting a medal. Then there was the one that wouldn't recognize the water tower over a well. Then there was the fertilizer bin over the shed. And those are just a few I can remember off the top of my head.
Z has never been great at retro coding their stuffses.
Math is hard for Zynga.
Technically we don't know what the developers want or think is "ok" to use - the only thing we have been told is that the forum mods have been asked to disallow the posting of the directions for use of the tools - they didn't say we couldn't or shouldn't use them - that they are allowing the actual links knowing how they were found would indicate that the links themselves are fine or that they are at least willing to look the other way for the benefit of the group. Lets not forget there are a lot of Facebook users that post in the thread that are not using dev tools - so you'd be punishing them for no reason. I don't see what the big deal is about it - on one hand - no one should be relying on the thread - if you are you need to reevaluate your friends and co-op members - they clearly arent doing their jobs or you don't have enough of them. On the other hand why would you want to remove the tool from other players - what good does it do you? The developers arent going to notice a couple more people having a harder time collecting things and all of a sudden make the game easier - there is no win for removing it.
You might want to try doing some crafting or fishing between when you fertilize and leave the game.
All you really need is a one click dry all certificate - but I think that Zynga would think that is unreasonable to be able to dry thousands of crops like that. But maybe a barrel of 500 fuel or something as an occasional reward would certainly help a lot of people along. Personally I spent several months not harvesting from the river just so I could clear out my dryer and now I don't harvest unless I got fuel to dry it - cause OCD is a real thing.
I think a 5 minute fuel cert would be a nice prize for something. I've been saying that for awhile. You could probably dry everything in 5 minutes. That's probably why they don't do it.
make sure you have at least 1 pig out on your farm roaming around. It can't be a prized pig and you need at least 4 non-prized pigs between the barn and roaming for the mud wallow to work at all. You'll have a red drop over it. If you constantly have a purple drop and it isn't counting it's because you're lacking a roaming, non-prized pig.
Links to support are in your game on the help tab at the top or the link at the bottom - if those don't work use the one below in my signature but only use that if your ingame links don't work. Be sure to take screenshots to provide evidence of your issue.
